Directed by Naoto Hosoda, 13 episodes from the first Hataraku Maou-sama season made their debut back in 2013. Nothing was heard about an approximate Hataraku Maou-sama Season 2 release date for many years. We hope to have some good news for all anime fans and this particular series as well.
When Will Hataraku Maou-sama Season 2 be Released?
The anime has conquered millions of fans all over the glove due to an award-winning combination of good humor, action, and fantasy. Such a good blend had a great success among different anime fans of any genre. Almost six years have passed since the release of the first season. Moreover, the 18th volume of the light novel made its debut in January 2018. It means we are about to witness Hataraku Maou-sama Season 2 premiere in the nearest future. Hataraku Maou-sama Plot
The light novel describes the world called Ente Isla. It consists of four continents that are put under threat by the Lord Satan’s desire to conquer all of them. The demon is eager to master the world with the help of his diabolic team including devoted generals Lucifer, Malacoda and some others. However, they face a strong opposition in the face of a hero named Emilia. Satan and is general are defeated. They get to the modern world of Tokyo we are used to.
The lack of magic skills in our world forces demons to become casual humans. Satan needs to find a job in order not to live from hand to mouth. He tries to become an ordinary human. In the new world, he meets a beautiful girl who appears to be Emilia his fatal enemy. The story is full of hilarious moments blended with action and fantasy.

Those of you, who remember the end of the first season, may expect to see some new characters. However, we do not know much about the plot for the new set of episodes. All we know is that you will still meet some of the main manga characters including:
Emilia Yua – she is the main hero who managed to defeat Satan along with her warriors.
- The Satan – He gets to the modern world of Tokyo in the face of a simple guy named Sadao Maou
- The Lucifer – Satan’s mate captain in the face of Hanzo Urushira in the modern world.
The rest of the characters include Sadao’s neighbor Suzuno, his friend Chino and the second Demon’s general Shiro Ashiya. Together they are going to have plenty of hilarious and thrilling moments. No one actually knows how this story is going to end.
